Fairview Capital is a husband-and-wife acquisition team with complementary expertise in finance, M&A, accounting, and hands-on operations. We're drawn to businesses built on hard work, physical infrastructure, and real customer relationships — and we're seeking one outstanding company to acquire and lead as long-term owners who will show up every day and honour what you've built.
Fairview Capital is Eamonn and Alisha Gamble — a Calgary-based couple with complementary careers spanning investment banking, commercial lending, M&A advisory, public accounting, and large-scale enterprise operations. Together we bring what most acquirers can't: rigorous financial expertise, real operating experience on both sides of an acquisition, and a genuine shared commitment to what comes next.
15+ years across investment banking, commercial lending, and M&A advisory. Former Director at RBCx leading a national fintech banking team of 15 direct reports. Spent two years as Director of Capital & Advisory at an M&A-focused startup, helping buyers find, structure, diligence, and finance acquisitions in the $2–10M range. Co-owner of an operating food services business since 2023. Born and raised in Calgary.
CPA with 10+ years across public accounting (PwC), startup finance, and large-scale operations. Served as Director of Finance through TSOLogic's acquisition by Amazon Web Services — managing M&A due diligence, full-cycle accounting, board reporting, and treasury. Currently Finance Manager at Amazon's Calgary distribution centre, where she oversees financial performance, cost controls, and day-to-day operational management of a high-volume logistics facility.
We're focused on a single acquisition — one outstanding business we can lead together for the long term. Our criteria are clear, but we are always open to a conversation even if your situation doesn't match every point.
Industries of interest:
We're not a private equity fund optimising for a short-term exit. We're two people who will step into your business full-time, work alongside your team, and lead with long-term accountability.
We are self-funded. There is no LP committee to satisfy and no approval process to navigate. When we say we're interested, we can move decisively — reducing timeline risk and uncertainty for you at every stage of the process.
Eamonn has spent 15+ years in commercial lending and M&A advisory and maintains deep relationships across Canadian lenders. We know how to structure and close debt financing — which means fewer deals falling apart late in the process, and greater confidence for everyone at the table.
Alisha is a CPA who has run finance functions at a venture-backed startup through an acquisition by a Fortune 500 company. She brings financial controls, reporting systems, and planning discipline to businesses that have grown beyond their current infrastructure — without disrupting what already works.
Most acquirers bring a single person. We bring two Managing Partners who will each take on meaningful operational roles suited to what the business needs — whether that's finance, operations, client relationships, or team leadership. The specific division of responsibility will be shaped by the company we acquire.
We are acquiring one business — not ten. We will spend real time understanding the culture, the relationships, and the reputation you have developed before we change anything. Your employees and your customers matter to us, and we intend to honour that from day one.
We live in Calgary — at the heart of Western Canada's transportation and logistics corridor — and are deeply committed to this region. The business we acquire will be the place we show up every day. This is not a stepping stone or an interim role. It is the plan.
Between us, we have led teams at Canada's largest financial institutions, a Big Four accounting firm, a venture-backed startup, and one of the world's largest technology companies. That breadth has shaped a shared set of operating principles.
The people who know the business best are already working in it. In our first 90 days, we are students — not reformers. We earn the right to lead by understanding first.
Good decisions begin with good numbers. Alisha brings institutional-grade financial controls and reporting; Eamonn brings cash flow modeling and capital structure thinking. Together, we build a clear picture quickly.
We set clear goals, share progress honestly, and hold ourselves to the same standards we hold our team. No surprises — inside the business or out.
We will not chase growth at the expense of what already works. Understand the flywheel, protect the margins, strengthen the team — then scale with intention and discipline.
From Alisha's work building high-performing teams at AWS to Eamonn's development of 50+ commercial bankers at RBC, we know that culture is built deliberately — and that it is the foundation of everything else.
Alisha's background in program management and internal controls means we are always looking for smarter ways to operate — without disrupting what is already functioning well.
Supporting SME buyers end-to-end — financial modeling, deal sourcing, negotiation strategy, due diligence, and debt financing for acquisitions in the $2–10M range.
Manages finance and operations at a modernized Amazon distribution warehouse in Calgary — overseeing financial reporting, cost controls, operational KPIs, and cross-functional coordination across a large hourly workforce and complex logistics environment.
Part of the buying group that acquired a 20-year-old café. Hands-on experience in strategic finance, vendor management, and marketing for an owner-operated food services business.
Led a team of program managers driving adoption and profitability of AWS Migration Services. Owns management reporting, variance analysis, capacity planning, and forecasting.
Part of the initial RBCx launch. Led up to 15 direct reports across Western Canada and Toronto, providing debt and banking to over 1,000 technology companies.
Sole finance leader through the company's M&A exit to Amazon. Managed full-cycle accounting, financial statements, board reporting, budgeting, FP&A, cash flow management, and stock option valuation.
Managed the bank's largest and most complex tech sector lending relationships. Later led the Commercial Account Manager training curriculum for 50+ new hires across BC.
Financial statement audits under IFRS and ASPE. SOX internal control testing, impairment and equity accounting, and client business process improvement recommendations.
Financial advisory for energy and infrastructure clients across M&A, asset sales, and equity financings.
Credit risk analysis, deal structuring, and pricing recommendations for commercial borrowers across term, operating, and treasury products.
We have been on both sides of small business acquisitions. Here is what you can expect from us — straightforward, respectful, and without unnecessary delays.
A 30-minute confidential conversation to understand your business and whether there is a mutual fit. No commitment required on either side.
With an NDA in place, we review a financial summary and operational overview. We typically come back to you within one week.
If there is mutual interest, we issue a clear, fair LOI. No games, no lowball offers designed to be retraded later in the process.
Thorough but respectful due diligence, followed by a transition plan built around your timeline and the needs of the business.
Whether you are actively exploring a sale, thinking about it for the first time, or simply curious — we would love to connect. All conversations are completely confidential.
